The European Commission is inviting young people from 18 years of age and residents of the EU countries, Turkey, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein to share positive anecdotes showing the
benefits of knowing languages. The stories can be submitted in video, audio, text, photo or poster format and will be published on the competition website. The public will choose the best stories by voting online.

International Youth Forum Go4BioDiv
16 – 29 October 2010, Mt Fuji/Nagoya Japan
From 16 to 29 October 2010, Japan hosts the 10th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Around 5,000 delegates from all over the world will meet in Nagoya to discuss steps that can be taken to conserve biodiversity. Before and during the conference, the International Youth Forum “Go4BioDiv” provides young adults from natural World Heritage Sites with a forum and a political platform for issues that concern them. The topic of this year’s Youth Forum is “Our treasures at risk – World Heritage sites in times of climate change.”
